Instagram

The user majority is 18-24 years of age.

Instagram has become one of the fastest-growing platforms to date. It has grown to become more than just a photo-sharing experience. Instagram is now putting videos at the top of the algorithm.

Snapping behind-the-scenes photos and videos of your practice is a great way to engage with your patients. *Make sure to ask for saves when you post on Instagram. It acts as a super like on those specific posts and helps boost your analytics.

Facebook

The user majority age for Facebook is between 18-44 years of age.

Facebook is a great way to keep your existing customer base updated. Take advantage of Facebook groups to provide value to your customers. Discuss upcoming current events and build your own community through the knowledge you provide.

Take advantage of Facebook events to promote any upcoming conferences, webinars, or business events you may be attending. Creating a Facebook event will allow you to invite your audience, and cohosts, give event details that give your audience the chance to choose “Interested,” “Going,” or “Not Going.”

Twitter

The user majority is 18-29 years of age.

If your goal is brand awareness, Twitter is the right fit for you. Follow interesting and popular topics. Tweet industry leaders and share trending topics with your followers.

LinkedIn

The user majority is 30-49 years and this platform is for business professionals.

Set up a business page and invite your staff and patients to follow. Encourage your followers to share important posts from your LinkedIn company page for them to share with their connections. LinkedIn is a wonderful option if you’re looking to grow connections in the industry and recruit employees.

YouTube

The user majority is between the ages of 18-24 years.

YouTube is great if you’re willing to take the time to produce quality video content. YouTube could help boost brand awareness and help drive traffic to your website.

Pinterest

The user majority is 25-54 years of age.

Pinterest is great if you have strong visuals to support your business. Follow other users’ Pinterest boards for inspiration. Pinterest is also a great tool for other users to save content that you’ve created on their boards to review for later.
