Designs for Health Expands Sustainability Efforts

At Designs for Health (DFH), our vision for a Well World naturally involves the whole ecosystem, including the health and wellness of all people and the planet.

As leaders in the integrative medicine movement, we are always exploring ways to reduce our environmental impact, and most recently, we've identified a simple, yet meaningful change we can make.

Over the next few months, DFH is shifting away from shrink wrapping the outside of our powder containers to decrease plastic waste. The containers will still have a safety seal around the top of each product to ensure the contents stay protected.

Plastic is made to last — and it does, often for 400 years or more, making plastic pollution one of the most pressing environmental issues of our time.

At DFH, we are not afraid to disrupt the status quo by delivering solutions that transform the health-care ecosystem and beyond. We are committed to ethical and sustainable business and manufacturing practices, including other recent packaging changes, such as the switch to amber glass, polyethylene terephthalate (PET), and crinkle packaging paper.

As new opportunities for sustainable practices emerge, you can continue to rely on DFH to explore and implement new measures to exemplify stewardship of the planet. We are committed to helping your practice stay on the cutting edge of nutritional development and supplements. DFH is also setting new standards to help our world thrive together.
